I got two Brother printers at home, one locally purchased (in the Philippines) and another imported from the USA (a gift from my Dad). Both are multi function printers with almost the same specifications (the US one just got a fax feature) but they use different cartridges that look strikingly the same! LC5-7 is locally available but the LC5-1 can only be bought at the States. It would be too expensive for me to constantly ship cartridges and buying bulk will be too expensive. Are the LC5-7 and LC5-1 cartridges interchangeable? Can I use LC5-7 for my US bought printer?
I need a very fast (a few hours or less), easy way to age 20+ sheets of printer paper at a time that doesn’t involve tea/coffee/ink staining. mostly because I don’t want the paper to come out wrinkly and warped, I just want the paper to yellow. I’ve tried putting a few sheets of paper on my dashboard in the past, but it took almost 3 weeks to yellow enough.
@A. Robbie: great idea, except that paper yellows due to exposure to sun, not being shut up in a dark, wet environment. but thanks for trolling anyway. it’s always appreciated
